Last Monday I moved to Berlin for a new job. I have been here for one week, and I want to tell you about it.

My flat is small, but it is bright and clean. It is on the third floor, and there is no lift, so I am getting stronger every day! My neighbour, an old man called Hans, was very kind. He gave me a plant and told me about a good shop at the end of the street.

On Tuesday I started work. My new office is bigger than my old one, and my colleagues are friendly. We had lunch together on Wednesday, and I tried a famous local sausage. It was delicious, but a little salty.

The city is very big, so I bought a monthly ticket for the train. It is cheaper than buying a ticket every day. Yesterday I got lost on the underground, but a young woman helped me. She was going the same way, so we talked for twenty minutes.
