A1 A1 grammar · lesson 17 of 24
Object pronouns replace a person or thing after a verb or a preposition. They help you avoid repeating names again and again.
Subject or object?
You know subject pronouns (I, he, she…) from Lesson 3. They come before the verb. Object pronouns come after the verb or after a preposition (to, with, for, at…).

| you | you | I love you. |
| he | him | I know him. |
| she | her | Look at her. |

| we | us | Come with us. |
| they | them | I see them every day. |
